Ms. Baggili is a senior analyst in the life sciences team, specialising in healthcare policy and financing, biopharmaceutical market intelligence, access to medicines, and pricing & reimbursement in the Middle East, Africa, and countries of the Indian subcontinent. She also takes responsibility for research and analysis pertaining to global public health and the policies and initiatives of supranational organisations such as the WHO, GAVI, and the Global Fund. Before joining GlobalData in 2018, Ms. Baggili worked as an independent analyst, providing research and consultancy services in the healthcare sector and on political, macroeconomic, regulatory, and trade risks in the Middle East and North Africa region; this included 12 years of continuous work with the Economist Intelligence Unit and its Bazian healthcare consultancy arm. She previously held positions as a Middle East country risk analyst at the World Markets Research Centre and as a senior healthcare analyst at Global Insight (both GlobalData legacy companies). Ms. Baggili has also worked as a journalist in Jordan and Lebanon. She holds a BA in history and politics from the University of Exeter and a master’s degree in international social policy from the University of Nottingham, focusing on global healthcare governance, policy analysis, and the socio-economic dynamics of the Middle East and Africa. She is a dual British-Jordanian national.
